On Behalf of the Park District Committee.
Our community has an opportunity to develop a park district to serve Alder Creek to Government Camp. We now have a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) from the County Commissioners saying that they will deed three parcels of land to our community once
we have successfully established a funded park district with a governing board.   Around 20 acres! They can only deed land to a
government or a public entity like a park district. If we do nothing, the county will sell the land to the highest bidder.
